The farm was established in 1807 by Colonel Angus Greme.  During the Revolutionary War Colonel Angus Greme traveled through this area and thought it was so beautiful that he vowed to return after the war to make this farm his home.  Greg and Janelle are the current owners of the property.

The springhouse was originally two stories.  Due to disrepair, only the bottom portion stands.  The field stone has been repointed and the roof repaired.
The barn is also over two hundred years old.  In 2008 it was  resided and the slate roof repaired.  You can see the original field stone foundation above.  The Amish were employed to work on the barn since they understand the structure and building style.
The farm house has been added on to three times.  The original part of the house consisted of the pantry and kitchen area.
