At Wilson's, we feel education is the key to preserving agriculture.  Our educational field trips are coordinated with your current class curriculum. Each class has their own agenda created and approved by the teacher prior to the field trip.

Plant growth cycles, cohabiting with wildlife, sequencing, spring and fall changes, etc.  We can cover any topic applicable to your class curriculum.  Each class always leaves with something from our farm.  It may be a plant/seed that they planted themselves to watch over and care for, strawberries they picked themselves, or it may be gourds and b-little pumpkins from our fields.

The most exciting areas of the farm, we have been told, are the asparagus patch, strawberry patch, orchard trees (peaches, apple, cherry) and of course, our Shetland ponies.

Our ponies are extremely friendly and personable.  The children get a kick out of petting and learning about these beautiful animals.  A courtesy photo is always sent to the classroom teacher as a farm visit momento.
